Poetry & language
Mushaira evenings bring local and visiting poets together in the centuries-old tradition of Urdu poetry recitation. Our Urdu Adabi Mehfil gatherings invite young women to read, write, and discuss Urdu literature. VERIFY: still active? W-10
Visual art & calligraphy
From the Sadequain calligraphy exhibition at Balboa Park (2024) to our Patriotic Kids' Art Challenge (2021), judged by local artists, we celebrate Pakistani visual art and the artists of tomorrow.
Music & performance
Live concerts, from "Music Beyond Borders" (2017) to evenings with celebrated vocalists, fill our calendar with music from across Pakistan. At every Independence Day, our young performers sing the songs their grandparents loved.
Film & fashion
We've hosted screenings, including Pakistan's first animated feature film (2017), and fashion shows featuring designers from across California and Arizona.
