Some days feel like home no matter where you are. Every year, House of Pakistan brings San Diego's Pakistani community together for the celebrations we grew up with, and invites our neighbors to join in.
Pakistan Independence Day, our flagship
Every August, STAT: attendance people in green and white gather at Balboa Park to mark Pakistan's independence with the national anthem, patriotic songs, youth performances, poetry, awards, food, and a bazaar of cultural businesses. Our guests have included the Consul General of Pakistan in Los Angeles and elected leaders from across California.

Eid is better together. We host Eid lunches and dinners with entertainment, where families reconnect, children dress up, and community leaders join us. In 2023, the Consul General of Pakistan in Los Angeles, Asim Ali Khan, and his family celebrated Eid with our members.
Chand Raat
The night before Eid is for mehndi, bangles, and last-minute shopping. Our Chand Raat bazaars bring that festive energy to San Diego, with henna artists, clothing, jewelry, and food. See our bazaars →
